[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I know that fragrance is personal preference but I’m not sure how much I love fig and tomato together. I don’t think I’d eat them together so maybe it’s no surprise that I don’t want to smell them together.
I can’t fault the throw on this candle – it’s permeated my kitchen fully predominating with the tomato leaf which is fresh, soft and unmistakeably tomato-ish in scent. The fig is present with a green sweetness and I’d love either separately I think, although I was a big fan of Malin + Goetz limited edition Tomato candle that successfully paired tomato with mint. Although there’s a woody base, there’s definitely an air of a vibrant kitchen garden – that kind of gourmand vegetal scent that makes you think of fresh cooking and healthy food freshly gathered.
The SpaceNK Tuscan Vines Candle is £35 which compares favourably to other luxury fragrance candles – I hesitate to say a bargain, but comparatively it is for the quality and strength of throw – and I’d feel that I’d had good value from it and also appreciate that SpaceNK noses didn’t add basil which would have been too obvious a companion. If you need something to inject summer into your home, this could well be the very thing. It’s HERE.
